Terms of purchase
What you actually agree to.
Short version: you place an order, we confirm it and send the agreement, then the work begins. No payment is taken when you fill in the order. You own your site once it is paid for. No hidden fees.
1. About these terms and who you are buying from
These terms of purchase apply when you order a website or service from Synlighetsverket via synlighetsverket.se, for example the Own-your-website package. The seller and contracting party is Brilliant Values Global AB (company reg. no. 559023-2624), Vaksalagatan 28, 753 31 Uppsala, Sweden. Synlighetsverket is a brand operated by the company. Questions: [email protected], 072-200 99 09.
The terms are written in plain language. The individual written agreement we confirm with you before the work begins takes precedence if anything there should differ from this page. The Swedish version of these terms (/villkor) is the authoritative one; this English translation is provided for convenience.
2. What Own your website covers
The Own-your-website package is a complete website of up to ten pages for the one-time price of SEK 4,995. The package includes design, build, a basic local SEO structure and one (1) round of proofing where you submit your collected changes before the site is published. Hosting is included free of charge for the first year. If you need more than ten pages or other functionality, add-ons are available under section 5.
3. Placing an order and when a contract is formed
When you submit an order via the order form, you place a binding order — you are bound by your order. No payment is taken in the form. A binding contract between you and us is formed when we confirm the order, normally the same day: at that point we are obliged to deliver the site and you to pay. We reserve the right to decline an order before we have confirmed it, for example if we are unable to take on the assignment. Payment is made separately against invoice per the agreement, and the work begins after the agreement is confirmed.
As soon as you order, you receive an order confirmation by email with an order summary, a reference number and a timestamp. The confirmation is a receipt for your order — it does not mean that payment has been made or that the work has begun.
4. Price and payment
The price for Own your website is SEK 4,995 as a one-time amount. Prices are stated in Swedish kronor. The exact payment and invoicing terms, including VAT handling and payment terms, are set out in the written agreement that is confirmed separately before the work begins. We do not add fees after the fact: what you see in the order is what you pay, besides any add-ons you select yourself.
5. Add-ons
In the order you can add, for example, Google Start (an optimised Google Business Profile, SEK 1,995) or Hosting + small changes (SEK 199/mo). Certain add-ons — such as an online store, login/customer portal, booking system, automated messaging or more than ten pages — are quoted separately based on your situation. You always get the price in plain text before you say yes, and no add-on is charged without your approval.
6. Delivery and proofing
The timeline depends on how quickly we receive the material and information we need from you. One round of proofing with collected changes is included in the Own-your-website package. Further rounds of changes or ongoing minor edits after publication are handled via the Hosting + small changes add-on or quoted separately.
7. Ownership and content
You own the website's content and the delivered solution once the site is fully paid for. We apply no lock-in: you can take the site and your data to another provider. Certain external components — such as fonts, image licences, payment services, SMS or any AI services — are governed by the respective provider's own terms, but the code and content we build for you is yours to take with you.
8. Hosting and ongoing services
Hosting is included free of charge for the first year. After that you can choose the Hosting + small changes add-on for SEK 199/mo, which keeps the site live and covers ongoing minor adjustments, or move the site to your own provider. Ongoing services (for example monthly packages for visibility and social presence) are governed by a separate agreement with one month's notice and no lock-in period.
9. Your responsibility as a customer
For us to be able to deliver, you need to give us the information and material we ask for. You are responsible for having the right to use the texts, images, logotypes and other material you submit, and for the content not infringing third-party rights or breaking the law. If images are missing, we can come out and photograph by agreement.
10. Right of withdrawal
Consumers (private individuals) have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal on distance purchases under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (Distansavtalslagen). Businesses have no right of withdrawal.
A website is produced specifically tailored to you. If you, as a consumer, expressly ask us to begin the work already during the withdrawal period, you simultaneously consent to the right of withdrawal being used up as the service is performed — if you begin to change your mind while the work is ongoing, you pay for what has already been done, and once the service is fully performed no right of withdrawal remains. This is set out in the written agreement we confirm before the work begins. As a consumer, in the event of a dispute you can turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (arn.se).
11. Liability
We deliver the service with the care and professional skill that can be expected. We are not liable for indirect damages, such as lost profit or data lost at a third party, and not for interruptions or faults in external services (for example Google, social platforms, payment or hosting providers) that are outside our control. We do not guarantee specific rankings in Google or in AI answers — we build the conditions, the outcome is governed by third parties.
12. Disputes and governing law
Swedish law applies to the agreement. We first try to resolve any dispute together. If that is not possible, the dispute is settled by a Swedish general court, with the exception of consumers, who can also turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes.
13. Changes to the terms
We may update these terms. For an individual order, the terms and the agreement that were in effect when the order was confirmed apply. Last updated: July 2026.
